Andersen Skylight Windows
Andersen® Skylights combine contemporary design with ease of installation, low maintenance, and exceptional weathertightness. The skylight combines the quality materials, craftsmanship, design, and performance advantages found in other Andersen products. The sleek, low-profile skylight requires minimal interior trim and finish work.

Features
Frame
1. Solid wood frame members are treated with a water-repellent wood preservative for long-lasting protection and performance. Frame corners are glued and pinned for structural integrity.
2. A flexible EPDM rubber gasket (made of high grade rubber not subject to UV breakdown) lines the entire Roof Window frame to provide three points of weatherstrip contact with the sash for superior weathertightness.
Sash
3. Solid wood sash members are treated with a water-repellent wood preservative for long-lasting protection and performance.
4. The structural aluminum sash cover has a high-temperature baked-on acrylic Terratone® color finish.
Glazing
5. High-quality construction grade silicone is used to seal the glass to the sash for maximum weathertightness.
6. High-Performance™ tempered and High-Performance Sun™ tempered glazing delivers optimum insulating performance. Or choose High-Performance™ tempered/laminated or High-Performance Sun™ tempered/laminated glazing for even greater strength (glazing option must be specified).
Flashing
7. Specially designed Terratone® color aluminum flashing prevents water, ice, and snow buildup. Standard flashing is for low-profile roofing materials (shingles). For installations between 60° (20/12 pitch roof) and 80° (68/12 pitch roof), the water deflector is required in addition to shingle flashing. For installations between 9° (2/12 pitch roof) and 18.5° (4/12 pitch roof), the incline curb flashing is required. Flashing is required on all installations (flashing option must be specified).
