ALUMINUM, VINYL OR CLAD WINDOWS

1. Opening must be plumb, square & level to achieve maximum unit performance & operation.

2. Flashing is stapled to the opening with a required overlap of 12" past edge of opening. No staples within 6" from the nailing fin. Any windows that are stacked with 4 x 4's between are double flashed.

3. Continuous seal of caulking applied to back side ( interior ) of the nailing fin.

4. Window is set in opening on a level sill. Window is shimmed where needed.

5. Operable windows are checked for smooth operation. Vents are closed prior to nailing of the window. All reveals are checked.
